Westbrook Fitness Manager says Cayla, an Athletic Therapist and Personal Trainer, has consistently been running our Back School program for anyone with low back issues, as well as maintaining great client session frequency and loyalty. Darci received her AFLCA certificate at Mount Royal college in1983 and has been working in the fitness industry ever since. She recently completed Personal Training through the University of Calgary and the American Council of Exercise (ACE).
Darci also instructors a variety of fitness classes including step Pilates, ball and core stability
She is very enthused about Personal Training and is looking forward to working individually with range of fitness and skill levels.

Just as the name suggests, this is a muscle-conditioning workout that concentrates on the lower body. Includes lots of great leg, butt and abdominal work

A calm and focused yoga class that concentrates on precision and alignment whilst using props to accommodate individuals. Improves balance, static strength and flexibility, whilst calming the mind and relieving stress.
Sherry began practicing yoga 15 years ago when she discovered it was a great way to keep in shape and maintain her health. She also felt really good after doing yoga; more calm, peaceful and yet invigorated! The more she practiced the more benefits she found, particularly once her children were born and she needed to find a balance between working and motherhood. The beauty of yoga is that it helps us navigate the challenges of life both on and off the mat.
Sherry wanted to share the gift of yoga and completed her training at The Yoga Studio College of Canada. Her style has been influenced by her Iyengar teachers and she enjoys integrating movement along with breath to discover personal strength, flexibility and awareness.
Beside teaching and practicing yoga, Sherry works for a homeopathic clinic and is interested in holistic approaches to healing: I believe that yoga offers benefits to our health and wellbeing that modern science is only beginning to understand.

Jodie began her fitness career as a group fitness instructor 10 years ago. She was looking for part-time work while raising her two young daughters. She discovered that the fitness industry not only offered a flexible schedule but allowed for all her passions to be fulfilled (having fun, enjoying music, educating others, and enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
She has had many roles, including assisting to manage the group fitness program for 12 clubs, leading instructor trainings for various styles of group fitness classes, and pre-choreographing multiple programs for the same multi-club chain. Personal training also became a passion during that time and she has had varied roles related to personal training, leading to taking on the Fitness Manager position at Westbrook.
Jodie loves to promote perfect posture (unique to each individual) and to help people feel the personal power that comes from getting more fit and overcoming injuries both old and new. Each workout you experience with Jodie promises to educate and inspire you, as well as be fun!

Jill has been a fitness instructor since 1992. She keeps busy with her toddler and a part time work arrangement. Jill enjoys teaching all types of classes and connecting with her participants through laughter and fun.
It is all about the Party! Dance, shake and groove away calories in a fun dance style aerobic class that is designed to be a party! It is for everyone and it is fun, fun fun!!!
