Today's Schedule
9:30 am - 10:00 am

3, 2, 1 is a mix of muscle, cardio and abdominals. We will perform 3 minutes of muscle, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute of abdominals and repeat this over and over to create a super calorie-busting workout. This time-efficient program creates amazing results and is suitable for all levels.

My name is Leslie Walsh, and I am a certified aerobics intructor with the AFLCA. I have also recently just been certified to teach Yoga! I have been teaching for Spa Lady since 1995. I love it!!! The ladies/members are great and have kept ME motivated all these years! I teach everything but Pilates. In August of 2004, I started a new position with Spa Lady. I am the "Training Director" of Edmonton and have had a wonderful opportunity to work with all the staff, at all of our 3 locations in Edmonton. I have been married for almost 16 years and have 3 beautiful girls, (twins who are 12 and an eight year old). I am fortunate to be working in an enviroment, with so many positive and energetic people, and I am very fortunate to be doing what I love to do!

This is a resistance and cardio class IN THE GYM on our exclusive Sprint Circuit Machines. This quick effective workout provides full conditioning and cardio training for maximum results!

I\'ve always had a passion to keep moving. Whether it is dance, sports or a combination of both, sitting still makes me go crazy. A moving body is a happier body and this is the philosophy that I enjoy bringing to my clients and classes. I graduated in 2004 from the University of Alberta with a degree in Physical Education and an advanced certificate in Athletic Therapy and since then have helped many athletes from all performance levels to get back into their sports. I now enjoy bringing that same knowledge to the general public because I believe that inactivity is an injury waiting to be rehabilitated. I love seeing the smiling faces after a class or workout knowing that they have just helped their bodies be healthier and happier and I couldn\'t be more excited knowing that I was a part of that.

A calm and focused yoga class that concentrates on precision and alignment whilst using props to accommodate individuals. Improves balance, static strength and flexibility, whilst calming the mind and relieving stress.

30 minutes of choreography with High Intensity Intervals to create a workout for your brain and your body!

Jen has been teaching group fitness with Spa Lady since 2007. She has enjoyed participating in team sports both as an athlete and as a coach. Jen brings her love of physical activity and sports into each class she teaches. She has taught many different cardio and strength classes; HIIT; MetCon; 3, 2, 1 and Zumba being some of her favourites. Jen believes that everyone can enjoy being physically active regardless of age or physical limitations. She makes an effort to provide workout options for all fitness levels. Jen and her husband are the proud parents of 4 beautiful, athletic children.

4:30 pm - 5:15 pm

It is all about the Party! – Dance, shake and groove away calories in a fun dance style aerobic class that is designed to be a party! It is for everyone and it is fun, fun fun!!!

5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

For those that love step, but are short on time this 30 minutes of pure cardio is the express way to burn calories and have fun with step choreography. Different levels of choreography will be offered to help everybody feel welcome..

My interest in group fitness started when I was 18, where I first took a step class with my mother. My interest soon developed into a passion and I started apprenticing to be a group fitness instructor with Spa Lady in 2000. My teaching skills range from Step, to Knockout, to iron reps, to pilates. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta. My schooling as well as my passion for movement, health, and fitness allows me to assist participants reach their fitness goals!

6:35 pm - 7:35 pm

A weight-training workout using a barbell and plates in the group fitness studio. It achieves maximum results and is the quickest way to get in shape. Our experienced instructors will focus on technique for safety and use their dynamic energy to power you through this amazing full body workout.

I have been teaching group fitness classes for over 12 years. I have been a part of the Group Fitness Coordinator team for several years. I am currently the Promotions Coordinator for all three Edmonton locations. I believe you should enjoy yourself when taking classes, which is why I like to bring fun into my classes. I encourage the participants to not only work hard but laugh as well. Every once in a while, I like to teach classes that bring a flavour of what is happening around us, such as the Olympics.

Alia is a yoga instructor at Spa Lady, and loves to share her passion for yoga with everyone. She took her first yoga class after her children were born as a way to keep in shape, and continued for years attending weekly classes and worked on growing her personal practise. As her children grew she knew someday she would need to go back to work, and needed to find something she loved. Alia trained hard and completed her 200 hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. She now teaches a couple times a week at different Spa Lady\'s around Edmonton. She thanks everyone who comes to class for giving yoga a chance. Namaste.
