It is all about the Party! – Dance, shake and groove away calories in a fun dance style aerobic class that is designed to be a party! It is for everyone and it is fun, fun fun!!!
I have always had a passion to keep moving. Whether it is dance, sports or a combination of both, sitting still makes me go crazy. A moving body is a happier body and this is the philosophy that I enjoy bringing to my clients and classes. I graduated in 2004 from the University of Alberta with a degree in Physical Education and an advanced certificate in Athletic Therapy and since then have helped many athletes from all performance levels to get back into their sports. I now enjoy bringing that same knowledge to the general public because I believe that inactivity is an injury waiting to be rehabilitated. I love seeing the smiling faces after a class or workout knowing that they have just helped their bodies be healthier and happier and I could not be more excited knowing that I was a part of that.
A calm and focused yoga class that concentrates on precision and alignment whilst using props to accommodate individuals. Improves balance, static strength and flexibility, whilst calming the mind and relieving stress.
Please bring your own mat as mats are not provided by the club for this class
Alia is a yoga instructor at Spa Lady, and loves to share her passion for yoga with everyone. She took her first yoga class after her children were born as a way to keep in shape, and continued for years attending weekly classes and worked on growing her personal practise. As her children grew she knew someday she would need to go back to work, and needed to find something she loved. Alia trained hard and completed her 200 hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. She now teaches a couple times a week at different Spa Ladys around Edmonton. She thanks everyone who comes to class for giving yoga a chance. Namaste.

I\'ve been teaching group fitness classes for over 12 years. I\'ve been a part of the Group Fitness Coordinator team for several years. I am currently the Promotions Coordinator for all three Edmonton locations. I believe you should enjoy yourself when taking classes, which is why I like to bring fun into my classes. I encourage the participants to not only work hard but laugh as well. Every once in a while, I like to teach classes that bring a flavour of what\'s happening around us, such as the Olympics.
A full body workout using a variety of equipment and muscle conditioning exercises. This total body conditioning class will do just as the name says; condition the whole body for a total muscle workout!!

I am 23 years old and currently finishing my Education degree at the University of Alberta. Dance has always been a passion of mine. I Ukrainian danced for 20 years, and have also had some experience with ballet, belly-dancing and hip hop. I came across Zumba in 2010, and instantly fell in love with the program. I received my B1 Zumba certificate in October 2010 and have also extended this education by taking Zumba B2, Zumba Toning, and Zumbatomic. I started teaching Zumba shortly after I received my certification and this has been undoubtedly the best \"job\" I ever had. Standing in front of a class teaching women who show up with the same love for dance inspires me as an instructor and is the most rewarding feeling. My goal is to share my passion for Zumba to everyone that steps into my class, to have a blast, and sweat while doing so.
