This high intensity interval training class will take your calorific burn to the next level! Using cardio drills and a variety of different timed sets this anaerobic style workout will leave you breathless and begging for more. High Intensity Interval Training has been scientifically proven to be the top training tool for maximum calorie loss. . It is easy to follow and we will offer a range of options to accommodate a range of fitness levels.

Jodie began her fitness career as a group fitness instructor 10 years ago. She was looking for part-time work while raising her two young daughters. She discovered that the fitness industry not only offered a flexible schedule but allowed for all her passions to be fulfilled (having fun, enjoying music, educating others, and enjoying a healthy lifestyle.

She has had many roles, including assisting to manage the group fitness program for 12 clubs, leading instructor trainings for various styles of group fitness classes, and pre-choreographing multiple programs for the same multi-club chain. Personal training also became a passion during that time and she has had varied roles related to personal training, leading to taking on the Fitness Manager position at Westbrook.

Jodie loves to promote perfect posture (unique to each individual) and to help people feel the personal power that comes from getting more fit and overcoming injuries both old and new. Each workout you experience with Jodie promises to educate and inspire you, as well as be fun!

9:30 am - 10:30 am

A weight-training workout using a barbell and plates in the group fitness studio. It achieves maximum results and is the quickest way to get in shape. Our experienced instructors will focus on technique for safety and use their dynamic energy to power you through this amazing full body workout.

After working in community health care for the last 14 years Kim truly sees the benefit of health and fitness for maintenance of health, prevention of disease and disability and improvement of quality of life for ALL people!

With two young children, a love of fitness and people and lots of energy to spare - Kim wanted to get in on the action!

Thanks to the Spa Lady Apprentice program she is on her way!

A calm and focused yoga class that concentrates on precision and alignment whilst using props to accommodate individuals. Improves balance, static strength and flexibility, whilst calming the mind and relieving stress.

Anne began her journey in 1998 as a way to manage back pain & chronic headaches. Starting with restorative yoga classes, she found that the simplest poses could be the most profound. She believes that flexibility is a gift, and by using breath and awareness, you can unwrap the self that is hidden beneath the physical body. Certified in Hatha Yoga, Anne uses the physical postures to help uncover more than a healthy body - a place of peach within.

Life is a journey & our body is the only vehicle we are given...let yoga be the maintenance you use to help keep mind, body & spirit in balance.

Jodie began her fitness career as a group fitness instructor 10 years ago. She was looking for part-time work while raising her two young daughters. She discovered that the fitness industry not only offered a flexible schedule but allowed for all her passions to be fulfilled (having fun, enjoying music, educating others, and enjoying a healthy lifestyle.

1 Minute of Muscle, I Minute of Cardio, this calorie burning, heart pumping workout is guaranteed to sculpt your body and make you sweat!

Stephanie has been committed to Spa Lady for more than 10 years; she is AFLCA certified & has a Kinesiology degree.

Stephanie strives to encourage & help her participants not only with their physical appearance/presentation, but also with their mental health, well-being & attitude. Additionally, she is extremely passionate about facilitating positive change in every aspect of her participants lives - to be happier, stronger, motivated & feel empowered through fitness.

Just as the name suggests, this is a muscle-conditioning workout that concentrates on the lower body. Includes lots of great leg, butt and abdominal work

Shavonne started out in 1994 as a Spa Lady member.Soon, her love for fitness and motivating others inspired her to earn her AFLCA certification. She has been part of the Spa Lady Instructor team since 2002 and can teach a variety of group fitness classes. Being part of a leading edge organization provides ongoing opportunities to learn current and safe teaching methods. Shavonne's high energy and enthusiasm ensures a great workout every time. Join her for a fun, athletic style step class full of great music and intense cardio, which is sure to be a challenge for all fitness levels.

Originally from Bulgaria and prior to her arrival in Calgary Jivka taught Step, Hi-Lo and Body Toning classes while living with her family in Tripoli, Libya.

Since her arrival in 2005 Jivka participated in group fitness classes and then decided to get involved with the fitness industry. She became a certified AFLCA instructor in January 2008.

Jivka's high energy and enthusiasm ensures everyone will have a great workout every time. She is excited about being a fitness instructor and her passion is to teach Step, Hi-Lo and Body Toning Classes. She is currently involved in an Iron Reps class at the Westbrook Mall Club.

This class is a fusion of mat based Pilates exercises and fitness core training. You will work the abdominals and spinal muscles whilst improving awareness of cervical, scapula, rib and pelvic placement and the role of the breath.

She recently completed Personal Training through the University of Calgary and the American Council of Exercise (ACE). Darci also instructors a variety of fitness classes including step Pilates, ball and core stability She is very enthused about Personal Training and is looking forward to working individually with range of fitness and skill levels.

Overcoming a fear of drowning and learning how to swim four years ago for a fundraising triathlon helped Abena realize she could break through her own self-imposed limits. That experience prompted her to push her love of fitness to the forefront and become certified as a trainer and group fitness instructor so she could help other people reach their fitness goals and their ultimate potentials.

Along with a steady diet of continuing education and her certifications as a Can-Fit-Pro Fitness Instructor Specialist, certified strength and conditioning specialist and corrective exercise specialist, Abena holds a B.Sc. in psychology and is working towards a Master of Science degree in Human Movement.

Abena believes “You are your only limit” and she’s here to help you break through those limits!

For as long as I can remember DANCING has always been a real passion. Health and fitness too has a huge part in my life as I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse. So being able to incorporate both passions as a Zumba Fitness Instructor, I have to say I have my dream job!

All I really want is to be able to share the passion I have with my class and hope that it inspires them to stay fit and active, but most importantly have FUN doing it!

I am so excited about joining this amazing team and look forward to reaching out to all those that are just as passionate about dance and fitness as I am! So I am inviting all of you to come party it up with me and the already amazing crew that are there every Saturday!

The love and passion Libby has for fitness is something that cannot be denied. As a member of SPA LADY, she regularly attended group fitness classes and soon fell in love. After completing the apprenticeship program in the summer of 2012, Libby realized that she had found what she was truly meant to do. She continues to grow and learn and loves nothing more than motivating and helping others achieve and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

If you enjoy intermediate step patterns and want a good cardio workout, then this is the class for you. This class may challenge the participants by introducing step patterns requiring 2 or more steps!

A gentle stretch class designed to release tight muscles and improve flexibility. We all need to stretch more and this class is perfect for everyone.

CJ has been teaching Group Fitness classes for 10 years: in Calgary, Toronto, and Dubai in the Middle East. She is Can Fit Pro and AFLCA certified. CJ\'s smile makes newcomers feel welcome in any of her classes, and her easy cueing style and multiple intensity options combine for a fantastic workout for beginner, intermediate, or advanced participants alike. When CJ is not teaching, her 3-yr old son keeps her busy. She also loves to line dance, read, hike and canoe.

Pick up your balls and get down for some serious work! This Medicine Ball Bootcamp will blast calories, pump muscles and generate fat loss. Combining Interval Training with Medicine Balls we will work the whole body, including the core!!

She recently completed Personal Training through the University of Calgary and the American Council of Exercise (ACE). Darci also instructors a variety of fitness classes including step Pilates, ball and core stability She is very enthused about Personal Training and is looking forward to working individually with range of fitness and skill levels.

Just as the name suggests, this is a muscle-conditioning workout that concentrates on the lower body. Includes lots of great leg, butt and abdominal work

10:45 am - 11:45 am

A calm and focused yoga class that concentrates on precision and alignment whilst using props to accommodate individuals. Improves balance, static strength and flexibility, whilst calming the mind and relieving stress.

Sherry began practicing yoga 15 years ago when she discovered it was a great way to keep in shape and maintain her health. She also felt really good after doing yoga; more calm, peaceful and yet invigorated! The more she practiced the more benefits she found, particularly once her children were born and she needed to find a balance between working and motherhood. The beauty of yoga is that it helps us navigate the challenges of life both on and off the mat.

Sherry wanted to share the gift of yoga and completed her training at The Yoga Studio College of Canada. Her style has been influenced by her Iyengar teachers and she enjoys integrating movement along with breath to discover personal strength, flexibility and awareness.

Beside teaching and practicing yoga, Sherry works for a homeopathic clinic and is interested in holistic approaches to healing: I believe that yoga offers benefits to our health and wellbeing that modern science is only beginning to understand.

Jodie began her fitness career as a group fitness instructor 10 years ago. She was looking for part-time work while raising her two young daughters. She discovered that the fitness industry not only offered a flexible schedule but allowed for all her passions to be fulfilled (having fun, enjoying music, educating others, and enjoying a healthy lifestyle.

She has had many roles, including assisting to manage the group fitness program for 12 clubs, leading instructor trainings for various styles of group fitness classes, and pre-choreographing multiple programs for the same multi-club chain. Personal training also became a passion during that time and she has had varied roles related to personal training, leading to taking on the Fitness Manager position at Westbrook.

Jodie loves to promote perfect posture (unique to each individual) and to help people feel the personal power that comes from getting more fit and overcoming injuries both old and new. Each workout you experience with Jodie promises to educate and inspire you, as well as be fun!

Jill has been a fitness instructor since 1992. She keeps busy with her toddler and a part time work arrangement. Jill enjoys teaching all types of classes and connecting with her participants through laughter and fun.

It is all about the Party! Dance, shake and groove away calories in a fun dance style aerobic class that is designed to be a party! It is for everyone and it is fun, fun fun!!!

9:30 am - 10:30 am

If you enjoy intermediate step patterns and want a good cardio workout, then this is the class for you. This class also includes a core workout and may challenge the participants by introducing step patterns requiring 2 or more steps!

Originally from Bulgaria and prior to her arrival in Calgary Jivka taught Step, Hi-Lo and Body Toning classes while living with her family in Tripoli, Libya.

Since her arrival in 2005 Jivka participated in group fitness classes and then decided to get involved with the fitness industry. She became a certified AFLCA instructor in January 2008.

Jivka's high energy and enthusiasm ensures everyone will have a great workout every time. She is excited about being a fitness instructor and her passion is to teach Step, Hi-Lo and Body Toning Classes. She is currently involved in an Iron Reps class at the Westbrook Mall Club.

11:45 am - 12:15 pm

Using cardio drills and a variety of different timed sets this anaerobic style workout will leave you breathless and begging for more. High Intensity Interval Training has been scientifically proven to be the top training tool for maximum calorie loss. . It is easy to follow and we will offer a range of options to accommodate a range of fitness levels.

Heidi White has been an aerobic instructor since 1992, and with Spa Lady since 1997. Heidi teaches a variety of classes including: Strippercize, Funk, Yoga, Step and many more. Heidi is an avid runner and has completed numerous half-marathons and is training for a full to be completed by the end of this year.

Having been an active and social person most of her life, Robin felt Group Fitness was a natural step after her first baby. Two years later she is enjoying herself more than ever and intends to bring health and fitness to the lives of many people in years to come.

Helping people have fun while they get an incredible workout is something she strives for in every class. Robin believes in getting the participants directly involved in class so they leave feeling a sense of accomplishment.

Robin loves nothing more than to see smiles on the faces of her participants as they work with her to improve the quality of their lives through exercise.
