I have always been pretty active from playing basketball to working out. My weight issue began about 13 years ago when I was playing soccer and injured my knee, tearing my ACL. I could not walk for 6 months and my weight went from 130 lbs. to 201 lbs. Eating fast food did not help the situation because I was not able to do anything physical. I got to the point where I could not pull my pants over my thighs. The depression of shopping for clothes kicked in and that is when I knew I had to do something about my weight.

The Fitness: The first time I met with my trainer Carrie, we made a goal for 4.5 months down the road. I wanted to be 145 lbs. and to strengthen my knee. Carrie is very good at her job, helping me to get motivated, pushing me to the limit every time and at the same time taking all of my injuries into consideration. Carrie is a very hands-on trainer, which hels so much when you do not have or can not figure out the right movement or have the wrong posture.

The Reward: I am PROUD to say that I achieved my goal of being 145 lbs. after 4.5 months. It is all thanks to Carrier. I realized that there is more out there than feeling sorry for myself.

I currently live a healthy lifestyle with my family and friends, and I like to share what I have learned from Carrie to help others beter themselves!
